Helen is a double Olympic medal winning British hockey player, winning bronze at her home Games in London 2012 and gold at her final Olympics in Rio 2016 – where she was one of only two players to score during a tense penalty shootout in the final. Having played international team sport for 18 years, including 4 Olympic Games, her knowledge of high performing teams and what it takes to win as individuals and teams is world leading. 

Her experience and insight into team culture and helping people thrive is supported with an MSc in Organisational Psychology which uniquely blends the sporting and academic worlds in her work with businesses and sports organisations, including Tottenham Hotspur Women. Helen is qualified to administer personality profile tests to help people gain awareness of themselves and the people they work with.  

She powerfully shares her experiences of mental health and being part of the LGBTQ+ community is a passionate activist and supporter of equality and justice for all people. Helen is a proud Mum to Pfeiffer alongside her wife, Kate.

Kate, a double Olympic medallist, captained the GB squad for 13 years and alongside Helen brings personal insight into how to lead, build and drive a high performing team environment. Winning bronze at London 2012, having suffered a fractured jaw early in the Games, Kate finally stood at the top of the podium with her teammates in Rio 2016. 

Experiencing the rollercoaster of international team sport for 18 years provided her with so much exceptional knowledge of team culture, leadership and people. Kate now uses her insight and expertise to help teams and individuals thrive in both sport and business settings. Kate has worked at Virgin Media as a High Performance Leadership and Team Coach. Her corporate experience alongside her lived experience as an Olympic athlete gives great insight for those she works with. 

As one half of the first same sex married couple to win Olympic gold together, Kate is a proud LGBTQ+ activist and a supporter of human rights causes. Kate is a proud Mum to Pfeiffer alongside her wife, Helen.
