In August 2016, the GB women’s hockey team won Gold at the Rio Olympic Games. Having won bronze in London 2012 and then experienced a rollercoaster journey in the intervening years, when the squad and management came together early 2015 to re-establish our culture, we were bruised and battle weary.
Having been empowered to build our own vision, values and behaviours, the 31 players and 10 staff knew that our collective purpose needed to be much greater than a tangible piece of metal. After many discussions and open conversations we agreed we wanted to:

We knew that this was going to take an almighty effort from every single person and that this would be the glue that would bind us together in the coming 18 months. Every player and staff member will likely have a very personal view of this vision. But collectively this was about paying homage to those that had gone before us, who had paved the way for us to be here in this moment.
It was also very much about looking to the future and considering what positive impact we could have on sport, women’s sport and society more broadly. And perhaps most importantly it was about the here and the now, being mindful and present with ourselves and each other, to enable us to achieve what we believed we could achieve. This was as much about team growth and collective endeavour as it was about personal development and purpose.
This vision is still our purpose now. Although we are long retired from the hockey team, it is this vision that we continue to use as our compass. It aligns perfectly with our values and beliefs and so that is where Be – Creat – Inspire Ltd was born. We want to help you be your best selves, create your own legacy and inspire you to be the change you wish to see in the World.
Our Philosophy
We believe that the power to be a consistently high performing team lies within you and all of your people. Teams thrive when they own, build and drive their team culture from within. A clear vision, supported by self-created values and explicit actionable behaviours leads to an environment that encourages accountability, responsibility and positive challenge.

We want to help you get the most from our relationship and feel the positive impacts in a meaningful and long term way by focusing on your ‘gold medal’ standards and being clear about the behaviours you demand from yourself and each other every day.
